Three museums - Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, Musée de beaux art de Montréal, Musée du Québec - worked together to
integrate their collections management processes, vocabulary, and search and retrieval strategies.
I managed the migration of all three institutional databases into three new information management environments. I authored
the data conversion strategy including systems crosswalks and migration rules. I developed and implemented a strategy for
data clean-up and normalization of institutional data; advised the museums on their use of information standards; created
a data model for public access of collections information offered by all three institutions through a common web site; and
provided a methodology for creating, storing, and managing a digitized image archive for both internal and external use.
